Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson announces the release of the latest Lace wallet version, fulfilling the community's demand for the multi-delegation feature. The Lace platform, launched on the mainnet in April 2023, has undergone several upgrades to enhance usability and add new functionalities. With the release of Lace 1.5, users can now experience the beta version of multi-delegation, allowing them to delegate their ADA to multiple stake pools without the need for multiple accounts.
Unlike the Ledger hardware wallet, Lace supports multi-staking, making it a game-changing update for Cardano users. Currently, the beta version enables users to stake their ADA in up to five stake pools simultaneously, with future updates expected to increase this number. The release of multi-delegation was driven by community demand, highlighting Cardano's commitment to listening to its users.
In terms of development activity, Cardano continues to make strides. Recent insights from on-chain analytics firm Santiment show that Cardano ranks among the top 10 projects for development growth. Although it has been surpassed by Polkadot and Kusama in terms of development rate, Cardano remains one of the most active projects. GitHub activity is seen as a positive indicator for project success and potential future feature releases.
