Shibarium, the Layer-2 protocol, continues to reach new heights as its block producing mechanism spikes. Since the beginning of September, the metric has increased by almost twofold, surpassing the 745,000 level. Each new block on Shibarium is now generated in approximately five seconds. Additionally, the platform has recorded over three million transactions and boasts 1,250,078 connected wallet addresses. These milestones demonstrate the growing success and adoption of Shibarium in the crypto industry.
Ripple CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, recently shared a photo outside the SEC headquarters with the company's general counsel, Stuart Alderoty. The light-hearted post humorously mentioned that they were not invited inside by Chair Gensler. This picture was taken amidst the ongoing tensions between Ripple and the SEC, as the regulator has appealed for stricter classification of XRP transactions under securities law. Alderoty also shared a photo of himself and Garlinghouse outside the Supreme Court of the United States, emphasizing the need for legislative clarity.
