Largest crypto exchange by volume, Binance, and its CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ), have announced a technical issue with USDT-margined futures trading. While no details have been shared, CZ assured the community that the Binance team is actively working to fix the problem. This is not the first time Binance has faced tech issues, but they have historically resolved them quickly.
Last week, CZ addressed the departure of several high-ranking executives from Binance. He urged the community to ignore the fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD) spread by critics and focus on building. The exodus included Gleb Kostarev, who managed Eastern Europe, Commonwealth of Independent States, Turkey, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as Vladimir Smerkis, who was head of the CIS region.
Additionally, Helen Hai, who oversaw Binance's global fiat business, left the company. Mayur Kamat, global head of product, and Leon Foong, responsible for Binance's Asia-Pacific operations, also resigned. The departing managers have yet to disclose their future plans.
