What cryptos are defi?
DeFi, short for Decentralized Finance, refers to the use of blockchain and cryptographic technologies to recreate and enhance traditional financial systems without the need for intermediaries. In the context of cryptocurrencies, several tokens are considered to be part of the DeFi space due to their involvement in decentralized finance protocols and applications.
Some of the cryptocurrencies that are commonly associated with DeFi include:
- Ethereum (ETH): The Ethereum blockchain is the foundation for many DeFi projects and applications.
- Uniswap (UNI): A decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol on Ethereum that allows for swapping tokens directly.
- Aave (AAVE): A decentralized lending and borrowing platform.
