Shiba Inu (SHIB) partner Welly's has teased its upcoming website upgrade, according to a recent post by @katametron1 from the Italian SHIB-themed fast food chain. The restaurant, which became a partner of Shiba Inu after opening its first establishment in Naples, Italy, in 2021, has decided to feature the Shiba Inu dog as its official mascot. As Welly's integrates with the Layer-2 solution Shibarium, there are high hopes that the fast food chain will actively participate in the burning of SHIB tokens.
In other news, data from Santiment, an on-chain analytics firm, indicates that large holders of Bitcoin and Ethereum, known as whales, are playing the waiting game as they anticipate higher prices in the near future. According to the data, transactions worth over $100,000 are currently at their lowest levels of 2023. This accumulation trend has caught the attention of Bitcoin analyst Charles Edwards, who believes whales are preparing for the next bull run.
Meanwhile, Shibarium, the Layer-2 network, is on the verge of achieving a significant utility milestone. With the total transactions on Shibarium steadily increasing, the network is only a few thousand transactions away from surpassing the three million mark. If the current rate of daily transactions continues, Shibarium is expected to achieve this milestone within a matter of days. Since its relaunch in August, the Layer-2 network has exhibited remarkable growth, boasting millions of total transactions, wallet addresses, and blocks.
