Chainlink's shark wallets have seen a significant accumulation of over 4 million LINK in just the last 10 days, totaling a staggering $24 million, according to crypto analyst Ali. This comes after the successful joint blockchain experiment between Chainlink and Swift, where tokenized value was moved across private and public blockchains. Santiment data reveals that the number of wallets holding between 10,000 and 100,000 LINK, known as the shark tier, has grown to over 3,127, the highest amount since December 2022. These wallets also accumulated $9.6 million worth of LINK, representing 0.154% of the entire supply, in just three days. Additionally, there are now 98 new wallets in this tier. Sergey Nazarov, founder of Chainlink, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating that leading market infrastructures and major financial institutions are recognizing the value of tokenization. Despite a 2.27% decline in the last 24 hours, LINK's price is still being closely watched as it approaches the formation of a death cross on its daily charts, which could indicate potential downside risk.
